Sam was matched with us via Zillow for a house we wanted to see a year ago. We had no idea what we were getting into with buying a house- especially in this market. We immediately connected with Sam and appreciated his honesty and dedication to educating us. We decided to wait until the next January to begin looking at houses in earnest and throughout the downtime, Sam kept in contact with us, letting us know how the market was changing. From Jan through March of 2022, we looked at houses every weekend with Sam, generally multiple houses over multiple days. Sam was always available to us and exuded the same amount of energy and investment with each property we saw. He was very transparent in his assessment of each house; we felt that he was truly representing us and our interests, instead of just selling a house. As a first time buyer on a mission to find a property in a relatively short time frame, I don't think I could have found a better realtor suited to assist me than Maria. I had briefly met her through a friend who was going through the buying process who had such a positive experience, so when I made the decision to do the same, I contacted her first. She was very straightforward with her answers of how the process works and patient with explaining anything to me if there was anything I didn't understand. One thing that really stood out to me as she helped me navigate the process is that she always carefully considered my opinions and never dismissed them based on my inexperience in real estate. She was assertive about telling me all the facts, but not at all overbearing, and had a very balanced approach to making sure I was ultimately in control of the decision making, as long as I was fully informed of what to expect. If I asked her opinion on anything she gave it to me honestly with the associated pros and cons. Also quick to respond through any type of communication and great about setting up an efficient schedule for property tours on the days that were most convenient for me. If on the occasion there were any specific questions I had about a property she did not know, she contacted the seller's agent or researched it quickly to inform me of the answer the absolute best as possible. I can't go without mentioning that in basically every property that we toured, she pointed out several details that I would never have noticed so I was as aware of what I was getting into as I could be before making an offer. Ultimately, with her help and some luck, I was able to close on a property I was extremely happy with even sooner than my expected time frame in a competitive market. All in all, I would recommend speaking to Maria Greer if in need of a buyer's agent. I'm confident she can accommodate the needs of all types of buyers, but from personal experience I can say this is especially true if it is your first time purchasing a home.
