My nickname at the office is “the Teacher” and it hits the nail on the head. My background in teaching allows me to educate my clients on how to buy a house as well as teach them the ins and outs of homeownership. I pride myself on forming relationships with my buyers and sellers and keep in contact long after the deal is done.

I grew up in Overland Park, Kansas and attended Baker University for my teaching degree (Go Wildcats!). After college, I spent the next 15 years between Kansas, California and eventually ending up in North Carolina in public education. I have taken all my skills from the classroom and have applied them to the Real Estate world and have never looked back!

Real Estate is not for the faint of heart. It takes dedication, commitment and teamwork to get the job done. At Dash Carolina, we have the team in place to do just that for our clients.

Away from work I enjoy spending time with my daughters, husband and dog at the beach and traveling to see family in Kansas and Michigan. I’m a diehard Chiefs fan and enjoy anything soccer.

As a real estate advisor, educating my clients to accomplish their goals of buying, selling or investing is my main job. My background in construction helps bring to light potential issues clients could deal with during homeownership. I pride myself on my responsiveness and making the process from contract to close as stress-free as possible. At the end of the day, my main goal is ‘Do the Right Thing.’ I hope my clients tell their friends and family about the wonderful experience they had buying or selling a home.

I would consider myself an Oak City Pirate! I grew up in the Raleigh area and graduated from East Carolina University. I’ve been back in the Triangle since 2012 and have enjoyed seeing the area grow.
