DASH Carolina Surpasses Volunteer Goal Through Year-Long Commitment to Community
5 min read

What started as a goal on paper became something much bigger by the end of the year (2025).
In partnership with the REALTOR® Giving Network and local community partners, DASH Carolina (DASH RDU) set out in February 2025 to log 500 volunteer hours. By year’s end, the team had surpassed that goal by completing 543 hours in just 11 months.
But the milestone didn’t feel like a number.
After one of the final volunteer events of the year, as teams were packing up and heading out, Brand Manager Renee Mangum paused the group and shared what had been weighing on her all morning:
"You could have been anywhere today. Instead, you chose to give back. Your efforts are changing things, helping people, and building our community."
It wasn’t a speech. It was a moment. And it captured what the year had really been about.
This achievement reflects DASH Carolina’s core value, Contribute Selflessly, lived out consistently through hands-on service, teamwork, and showing up when it mattered. Across multiple volunteer initiatives, teams gave their time not for recognition, but because community is part of who they are.
