Sherri Richter is a highly motivated and relationship-driven real estate professional known for her experience, professionalism, honesty, and ability to make clients feel genuinely supported throughout every stage of the process. Clients often describe her as detail-oriented, knowledgeable, patient, trustworthy, and thoughtful — qualities that have helped her build lasting relationships and a strong referral-based business. Originally from the Midwest, Sherri attended Indiana University and University of Indianapolis, earning degrees in Kinesiology and Physical Therapy. Before transitioning into real estate full-time, she built a successful career in healthcare management, where she developed strong skills in leadership, communication, sales, marketing, and business development. Sherri first entered the real estate world in 2005 while still practicing in the field of physical therapy. During evenings and weekends, she began purchasing, remodeling, and flipping homes alongside her renovation team — an experience that gave her valuable insight into construction, investing, design, and the real estate process from the inside out. In 2017, Sherri transitioned full-time into house flipping for nearly two years before relocating to the San Francisco Bay Area in 2019. It was there that she transitioned into residential real estate sales full-time and quickly discovered she had found her true passion. Her success in California was undeniable. Sherri’s team ranked in the top 1.5% of the Northern California/Hawaii region and earned the Triple Platinum Award in both 2022 and 2023. She was also the first agent in her brokerage to receive the Diversity Certification – Agent of Distinction Award in 2022. Having personally relocated multiple times across the country, Sherri deeply understands the emotions, stress, and excitement that come with major life transitions. She especially loves helping growing families, relocation clients, downsizing clients, and first-time homebuyers achieve their goals and confidently step into their next chapter. What truly sets Sherri apart is her ability to combine professionalism with authenticity. She believes people can feel when someone is being genuine, and her passion, honesty, and ability to make every client feel like her top priority help create trust from the very beginning. Even while managing multiple clients, each person receives her full attention, focus, and commitment. Today, Sherri proudly calls Clayton home alongside her wife, Tina, and their beloved 20-year-old cat, SugarPie — though she admits a boxer puppy may be in their future soon. Outside of real estate, Sherri enjoys home renovation projects, working out, golf, sports of every kind, and spending time with friends over a great glass of wine. She’s also a huge sports fan and loves spending time at McKinley's Irish Pub, where the atmosphere feels more like family than just a local spot — especially during football Sundays and Carolina Hurricanes games. And one fun fact most people don’t expect? Sherri used to play women’s professional football — the real kind, as she likes to say… “not that lingerie BS.” 🤪 Today, Sherri is proud to be part of DASH Carolina, where she continues helping clients turn their goals into reality through honest guidance, strong advocacy, and a real passion for helping people win in life and real estate.
I work on a few simple philosophies:
Every house is the RIGHT house for you at the RIGHT price.
Every house is the WRONG house for you at the WRONG price.
Remember, you don't make your money when you sell your house, you make it when you buy!!!
And finally, there is NO such thing as a once in a lifetime deal...there will always be another one.
My reviews are not from family members 'fluffing' and artificially inflating my ratings....they come from actual clients, all of whom by the end of their transactions I can energetically call friends.
I will work tirelessly for you. Those aren't empty words, I promise. And if we have to visit every house in the state to find the right one for you, then you're probably too picky :)
