Originally from Waynesville — known as the “Antique Capital of the Midwest”. Michael brings a relationship-driven, people-first approach to real estate. After completing undergrad at Bowling Green State University, he spent a decade living in Chicago before eventually making North Carolina home. Michael has always been drawn to people-focused industries, with experience in social environments, hospitality, and medical settings. After personally buying and selling investment properties throughout North Carolina, he realized real estate was where his passion truly came to life. What began as a personal interest quickly evolved into a career centered around helping others achieve their real estate goals while building meaningful, lasting relationships along the way. Clients often compliment Michael on his honesty, approachability, and ability to clearly explain the process from beginning to end. He believes real estate should feel exciting and empowering — not stressful or confusing — and takes an educational approach to ensure clients always understand the timing, expectations, and strategy behind each step of the transaction. Michael enjoys working with all types of clients and believes every real estate journey deserves personalized attention and genuine care. His philosophy is simple: life is built on experiences and relationships, and he works hard to create both throughout the buying and selling process. By focusing on trust, transparency, and authentic connection, he helps clients feel comfortable long after the transaction is complete. Now based in Charlotte, Michael enjoys being active in local sports leagues and social groups, spending time outdoors, camping, traveling, and visiting favorites like Reid’s Fine Foods, Rosie’s Coffee & Wine Garden, and the U.S. National Whitewater Center. He’s also a proud dog dad to his adventurous and lovable 3-year-old French Bulldog, Jupie, who enjoys traveling almost as much as he does. And one fun fact most people don’t expect? Michael continues auditioning for reality TV shows — especially Big Brother and Survivor — and was once narrowed down to a group of about 50 contestants for Season 2 of The Apprentice. Needless to say, he’s always ready for competition, strategy, and a little adventure.
I work on a few simple philosophies:
Every house is the RIGHT house for you at the RIGHT price.
Every house is the WRONG house for you at the WRONG price.
Remember, you don't make your money when you sell your house, you make it when you buy!!!
And finally, there is NO such thing as a once in a lifetime deal...there will always be another one.
My reviews are not from family members 'fluffing' and artificially inflating my ratings....they come from actual clients, all of whom by the end of their transactions I can energetically call friends.
I will work tirelessly for you. Those aren't empty words, I promise. And if we have to visit every house in the state to find the right one for you, then you're probably too picky :)
